Sheraton Radial Table
This beautiful round extension table was inspired by an ingenious extension mechanism designed by Robert Jupe in 1830. To transform the table from seating a small party of six to as many as twelve, simply turn the top counter-clockwise. Eight pie-shaped sections radiate out from the center to allow the insertion of the dart-shaped leaves.
The operation is so simple that literally a child can do it. When not in use the leaves are stored in a pedestal cabinet that can be used to support a vase, plant or art object.
The tables are completely handcrafted at our cabinet shop in Brooklyn. All tables feature an extension mechanism in stainless steel with brass leaf points.
Available custom or in many style options including Empire, Regency, Biedermeier or Chippendale to name a few.
